Charity/About Lemonbug

Lemonbug grew out of the belief that jewelry isn’t just to be worn, but to be a way to celebrate what we love, and to translate that love into action.

How do we do this? Well, every purchase helps a pup!

We donate $1 from every purchase to one of our favorite rescues. In fact, the name Lemonbug comes from my very own rescue pup.

We keep it personal with customizable jewelry that is literally stamped with meaning and memory.

Give + wear our pieces with pride-- handmade with love + a lick (puppy kisses).

-Gerly Noland, founder of Lemonbug

Sweetest face you've ever seen right? ;)

He was rescued from a shelter in Cassopolis, Michigan when he was about a year old. He was skin and bones and when we walked up to the concrete cage he was in, he growled and hovered scared in the corner. The shelter worker told us that we should take him out into the private room because he was a completely different dog... and she was right. Louie joined Bailey and Stewie as one of my four legged kids and he quickly stole my heart. He is the best dog ever. EVER. And I am proud to say that Lemonbug is named after him and has given me a platform and outlet to tell his story, give back and encourage all of you next time you're looking to add to your family to please #AdoptDontShop.

The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, founded in 2016, is a 501c3 dog rescue organization, working on both a domestic and international front to help create a better world for dogs globally. Although they are a Los Angeles based Foundation, their story begins in Yulin, China. After becoming aware of the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and witnessing the horrific images of slaughter and abuse that the dogs in Yulin face, their founders Lisa Vanderpump & Ken Todd began the long journey towards trying to stop the barbaric torture practices in Yulin and end the dog meat trade in Asia.  Together with their partner Dr. John Sessa, they launched the campaign Stop Yulin Forever. The movement gained momentum and has inspired activists all over the world to end the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and encourage more humane treatment for dogs worldwide.  The Vanderpump Dog Foundation was formed to not only aid in ending this international atrocity, but to also better the lives of dogs domestically.  The United States faces many problems of its own including dog overpopulation, abuse, neglect and lack of education with regards to spaying and neutering pets. The Foundation is built on a platform of education, legislation, and activism.
